Do you know the story behind Keira Knightley's iconic green dress in the movie Atonement? Did you ever wonder how decisive the soundtrack of a movie can be? Do you think AI can replace writers?
Thanks to the British Screen festival, the RPL radio team had the amazing opportunity to discuss all these topics with one of the 50 top British writers of our time since 1945 : Ian McEwan! (according to The Times)
100 pupils majoring in English watched the oscar-winning movie Atonement by Joe Wright (2007) on Friday, March 15th 2024 in the Lycée Philippe Lamour in Nîmes. Straight after the projection, they met Ian McEwan, the writer of the adapted novel of the same name, who kindly agreed to grant the RPL radio an interview in their own studio.
